ssl4you: blogging and podcasting to promote the Spanish language

ssl4you means Spanish as a Second Language for you! It’s a blog administered by Teresa Sanchez in which you can find nice entries about current events or general cultural matters reported in a very effective descriptive style along with the audio recordings of the same posts. In every podcast Teresa also explains the meaning of some expressions contextualizing their use …wonderful! 

In one site you can practice both reading and comprehension and listening through podcast that can be easily downloaded or to which you can subscribe via itunes.There is also a section dedicated to grammar in which you can take advantage of useful links and resources. 

What do I like of this blog? I really appreciate the short articles with words and idiomatic expressions  highlighted by the author, it is also useful to have an English version of the posts; someone could say that having the written text of the audio learners won’t be strongly engaged in the listening comprehension process but I believe that having the text is just an option you can choose to use or not depending on what you feel as a need in your learning path.

I do prefer to have that option!
