Yesterday Classroom 2.0 organized a “live conversation” event through Elluminate in which Al Upton was interviewed about his “miniLegends” student blogging; the program for 8- and 9-year olds received a closure order from the Department of Education and Children’s Services.
I was not able to join the live event but classroom 2.0 has now made available the recording of the interview and the main issue discussed:
Questions for Al:
- Your background
-
What is the miniLegends program?
- How have students appreciated it?
- Parents / administrators?
- What are the events that have taken place this week?
-
How has the response been?
- Students
- Parents
- Administrators
- Blogosphere?
- What are some of the larger themes at play here?
- What are you hoping will happen at this point?
- Where do you go from here?
